icon EV.jpg Test Engineer, Bloom Energy. The test engineer generates and drives daily goals for a team of individuals in direct support of the manufacturing production schedule, oversees the actions of a test team, ensures the shift has and uses the correct tools and procedures, implements continuous improvement actions, monitors test progress and escalates delays, troubleshoots any mechanical or electrical issues, provides corrective countermeasures, and ensures material transaction records are completed in a timely fashion. This position requires leadership experience, 4 year engineering degree, power generation experience, the ability to read and interpret electrical and piping diagrams, and familiarity with controls and instrumentation systems.

Systems Production Engineering Intern, Excel Energy. The Intern will work with a team of engineers and interns to support the development and maintenance of important specialized programs used in the system protection engineering department. These programs include the CAPE database (Computer-Aided Protection Engineering), which is used to model the Xcel Energy electrical distribution and transmission system and aids in the correct setting of relays used in the event of a short circuit or disturbances to the system. Duties include running queries in this system, verifying and correcting information used to map the distribution and transmission system and equipment, and putting together reports and studies to be used by the department.

RF Design Engineer, Emcore. The RF Design Engineer will work in sub-system projects in FTTx and Video Transportation. He/She will be responsible for electronics hardware circuitry, specifically for high speed digital circuits and broadband RF amplifier system. The Engineer will design the circuitry concepts, implement it with schematics and PCB layout, test and verify it with prototypes, perform design verification, support qualification, and improve production yield.
