Description SunPower is seeking a Finance Manager, Global Operations to serve as the strategic finance advisor to the manufacturing and supply chain organization, and be the primary consolidation point for the Global Operations Finance team. The Finance Manager, Global Operations reports to the Senior Director & Controller, Global Operations Finance and will be responsible for quarterly, annual and strategic planning and budgeting. He or she will indirectly manage a team of 3 Philippine-based financial analysts and work closely with a wide variety of cross-functional members of the Global Operations Finance and broader SunPower team. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned): 

Directly work with the Senior Director & Controller, Global Operations Finance and the Executive Vice President, Global Operations in the development of a five-year strategic financial plan that balances margin, working capital and capital expenditure in the short-term, while providing for long-term investments required to achieve strategic goals of innovation, differentiation, and cost leadership. 
Manage the development of annual operating plans, and quarterly budgeting & standard setting. Consolidate and review budget versus actual performance on a monthly basis, and provide analysis to support the Company's five-day month-end close process. 
Assist in closely monitoring expenditures, both operating and capital in nature, performing budget vs. actual analysis and assisting in the setting and allocating of cost improvement targets 
Participate in the development and execution of a detailed IT architecture roadmap that utilizes Anaplan, Hyperion, and Oracle ERP tools and functionality . 
Work closely with a worldwide finance and operations community (US, Mexico, Philippines, Malaysia, & France) in its effort to continuously reduce cost, improve inventory, and manage cash.

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS 

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience 
Advanced Degree is desirable 
OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience 

Perferred Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Engineering 
8+ years of working experience, including 3+ in progressively challenging financial planning roles
Superior time management and prioritization capabilities, with demonstrated success working in a deadline driven, multi-tasking environment 
Ability to make the complex simple, and implement lean financial processes 
Strong cost accounting and financial accounting knowledge 
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team 
Highly proficient in Excel analysis and in creating PowerPoint presentations 
Ability to embrace change and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-cultural, matrix environment 
Ability to influence business partners 
Maintain and reinforce integrity in all circumstances 
Ability to work closely with international teams in a variety of time zones 
Advanced degree or certification such as a MBA, CPA, or CFA 
Anaplan/Oracle competency 
Working knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS accounting

Job located in San Jose, CA, and candidate must be legally entitled to work and reside there 
Up to 10% travel may be required
