The Nanotechnology for Clean Energy IGERT (Integrative Graduate Education Research Traineeship) is an interdisciplinary, multi-university (Princeton and Rutgers) graduate fellowship program focusing on nanoscale energy technology development. 

 IGERT Trainees participate in:

  • Interdisciplinary courses in the fundamentals of energy technology, nanotechnology and energy policy.
  • Dissertation research emphasizing nanotechnology and energy.
  • Dynamic educational exchange between U.S. and select African institutions.

Our Two Favorite Finds:  Rutgers Fossil Fuel Divestment Campaign is a coalition of Rutgers community members working to push the Rutgers Governing Boards into divesting the University's endowment from the fossil fuel industry.  See their facebook page.   Rutgers School of Engineering is making strides in innovative environments in the industry and in academics. Rutgers’ MSE conducts state of the art research that embraces technology to address societal challenges. In addition MSE creates an environment that not only promotes strategic research but also provides resources to local New Jersey and regional stakeholders in the public’s interest.
