Sapphire Process Engineer:  The Sapphire Process Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day activities that support the manufacturing engineering and production departments in a materials manufacturing environment. They will utilize established product and/or process specifications to perform to process testing, troubleshooting, debugging and modification and assist with start-up and initial operation of newly installed equipment and incorporation of new processes and materials. May perform research activities and collect data to assist with the development of prototypes and models. Knowledge of AutoCAD and other software for design or schematic capture a necessity. Looking for a Bachelor’s Degree plus 1-2 years of engineering or related experience.

Mechanical Engineer:  This person will design, develop and fabricate moderately complex mechanical components, equipment and machinery. They will assist with fabrication, quality control inspection, operation, application, installation and/ or repair of mechanical products and able to apply principles and techniques of mechanical engineering to accomplish goals. There is approximately 30-40% travel (domestic and international) with this role supporting our equipment fabricators and new and existing customer facilities.

Junior Process Technician/Engineer:  Support and help to execute process development, sustaining engineering, and systems engineering tasks. This person should be able to understand the multi-physics system, collect and analyze data, create an experimentation plan and report. They should be able to build, conduct trouble shooting, and operate capital equipment. In this position, one will help to develop continuous improvement in processes and equipment and will assist in the creation and maintain complex documentation sets, involving highly technical material, for training.

Product Marketing Engineer:  GT Solar is seeking an energetic, highly-organized individual with great communication skills to work with the Product Line Manager, develop, drive and implement product strategy required to meet company’s market share and gross margin objectives. Some responsibilities will include: ensuring product cost, development schedules and performance constraints are optimized to meet market needs and opportunities, developing and executing product marketing plans, identifying customer requirements, industry trends and market segmentation to prepare market requirements documents (MRD’s) and develop full business case for investment and product requirements for success.

Electrical Engineer II:  The person in this position will perform design, developmental and testing duties on electronic and electro-mechanical equipment, components, and circuits for new and existing products. They will be involved in selection and evaluation of new electrical components and circuits. They will create prototypes for beta testing and for customer demonstration and will participate in project engineering design meets. This position favors graduate students, since 2-3 years of relevant experience are necessary.
