Lead Analyst (M.S., multiple areas of study): You will collaborate with the Research and Policy team to gather data on power use of electronics, maintain data sets, and estimate energy use and savings potential. Your primary role will be to translate that scientific work into market outcomes by establishing relevant contacts with consumer electronics industry and subject-matter experts, creating visuals that  effectively communicate data and conclusions, writing reports recommending specific policy actions, and giving highly visual presentations of research findings to industry members, government agencies, and other stakeholders.

Program Analyst (B.S., multiple areas of study, 0 – 1 year experience): As Program Analyst of the Plug Load Solutions team, you will have primary responsibility for: rebate data management; database administration; financial tracking and reporting of team progress metrics; website update and maintenance; and rebate data trend anlysis

Research and Policy Intern (BS or MS, Engineering/Science): The Research and Policy team identifies technologies that save energy, develops standardized test procedures for those products, and assists government agencies, companies, and utilities in developing energy efficiency specifications. This role may include:

• Performing literature reviews and background research on new and highly technical topics

• Measuring, collecting and analyzing of power draw and usage patterns for various products

• Investigating product market trends

• Gathering information from stakeholders via telephone

• Building and operating complex spreadsheets

• Communicating research findings in a highly visual way

• Presenting research findings in the form of written deliverables and/or PowerPoint
